- In a small pan, combine the chopped dates, nuts, and cinnamon. Cook over low heat until the dates are soft.

Cooking Process for Magroodh

- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a small ball.
- Take one ball of dough and flatten it using your palm. Place a spoonful of filling in the center, then fold and shape into an oval or crescent, sealing the edges well.
- Place the formed pastries onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

- While the Magroodh is baking, warm the honey in a small saucepan.
- As soon as the pastries come out of the oven, brush them generously with warm honey.
- Sprinkle sugar over the top while the pastries are still warm.
