Preparation
The preparation of Qurutob involves a few simple steps. Start by soaking the qurut in water for about 20 minutes, allowing them to dissolve and create a tangy base. While waiting, break the naan into bite-sized pieces and set aside. In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat and sauté the onion until golden brown. Set this aside as well.
Cooking Process
Once the qurut has softened and partially dissolved, strain to remove any unmelted bits. Pour the qurut mixture into a large serving bowl and add the broken pieces of naan. Stir gently to coat the bread completely with the mixture. Add sautéed onions into the mixture. Distribute the chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, and sliced bell peppers over the bread.
