Ingredients
- Chocolate - 200 grams
- Nougat - 150 grams
- Cherries - 100 grams
- Sugar - 50 grams
- Butter - 50 grams
- Cream - 100 milliliters
- Gelatin - 2 leaves
- Vanilla Extract - 1 teaspoon
- Kirsch (Cherry Brandy) - 2 tablespoons
- Biscuit Crumbs - 100 grams
Preparation
Step 1: Preparing the Base
Begin by melting butter and mixing it with biscuit crumbs. Press this mixture into a lined baking dish to form a solid base for your bites.
Step 2: Creating the Nougat Layer
Melt the nougat gently over a water bath. Once melted, pour it over the biscuit base and spread evenly. Allow it to set in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Step 3: Cherry Gelatin Layer
Soak gelatin leaves in cold water. Meanwhile, blend the cherries with sugar until smooth, then heat gently. Squeeze out the water from the gelatin and dissolve it into the warm cherry mixture. Add kirsch and let cool slightly before pouring over the nougat layer. Chill until completely set.
Step 4: Chocolate Ganache
Heat cream until just boiling, then pour over chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth and glossy. Let cool slightly before pouring over the set cherry layer. Refrigerate to set the ganache.
