Preparation
- Peel and chop the potatoes, carrots, and onions into medium-sized cubes.
- Minced the garlic cloves and ginger.
- Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly and set them aside to drain.
- Rinse the rice under running water until the water runs clear.
Cooking Process
- Heat the cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and bay leaves, and sauté until they start to crackle.
- Add the chopped onions, and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the minced garlic cloves and ginger. Stir for a minute until fragrant.
