Kaya Toast Supreme

Originating from the Hainanese community, this dish has evolved over generations to become a beloved treat not only in Singapore but also throughout Southeast Asia. Kaya, made from a blend of coconut milk, eggs, sugar, and pandan leaf, provides a rich and aromatic spread that perfectly complements the crispy toasted bread and cold butter.

Enjoying Your Kaya Toast Supreme
Kaya Toast is best enjoyed fresh, with the crispy texture of the bread contrasting beautifully against the sweet and creamy kaya and salty butter. To enhance the experience, pair the toast with the soft-boiled eggs seasoned lightly with soy sauce and pepper. Stir the eggs to create a smooth texture and dip the kaya toast, enjoying the perfect balance of flavors. Alternatively, enjoy with a cup of local coffee or tea.
