Preparation
Preparing the Akki Rotti
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine rice flour, onion, grated coconut, green chilies, coriander, cumin seeds, and salt.
2. Gradually add water little by little and knead the mixture to form a smooth dough. Ensure the dough is not too sticky or too dry.
Cooking the Akki Rotti
1. Take a portion of the dough and flatten it on a oiled plastic sheet or banana leaf.
