Preparation
Before starting, ensure you have all the tools ready: a pot for cooking the rice, a knife, a chopping board, and a frying pan for optional fried sides.
Step 1: Preparing the Rice
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Soak the rice in water for at least 30 minutes to achieve the mushy texture characteristic of Mushy Nasi Lembap.
Step 2: Preparing Other Ingredients
- Chop the onion, garlic, and ginger finely.
- Slice the cucumber thinly for serving.
- Fry the anchovies until golden brown and set aside.

Cooking Process
