Tokyo Sakura Maki
The Tokyo Sakura Maki is a unique sushi creation that marries traditional Japanese culinary art with a burst of springtime flavors. Inspired by the iconic cherry blossom season in Tokyo, this dish is not only a feast for the taste buds but also for the eyes. With its delicate pink hues and aromatic notes, it evokes the beauty and freshness of sakura blossoms. The maki itself is believed to be a later invention compared to nigiri, tailored for people who enjoyed beautifully rolled rice and fish, which also allowed for a variety of fillings.
