Cooking Process

- Add the rice evenly across the pan. This is the classic method to ensure even cooking. Do not stir after this point.
- Pour in the chicken broth and an equivalent amount of water. Add the saffron for that authentic paella color and taste.
- Allow the paella to cook for approximately 20 minutes, using a cooking timer to ensure precision. Adjust heat as necessary to maintain a gentle boil.
- Once the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender, remove the pan from the heat. Let the paella sit for a few minutes—this helps the flavors to settle and develop.
